Army Combat Uniform (ACU) in Digital Camouflage

While the traditional BDU is known and loved by generations of American soldiers, workers and outdoorsmen, the ACU, or Army Combat Uniform, has replaced the BDU in the U.S. Army.
The ACU also introduced the new digital camouflage pattern that the army uses for all environments, from urban to desert to woodland. ACU digital camouflage is very popular for tactical uses, but old fashioned woodland camo is still out-selling it for hunting and general use.
Less obvious than the color change, the ACU was completely re-designed to improve its usability in the field. For example, you will find the following features in our ACU pants and shirts:
Pockets are slanted for easy access of their contents under load carrying vests and other gear and cargo pockets on the pants have elastic draw strings to further secure their contents.
New sleeve or shoulder pockets and pen pockets on the arm provide additional accessible storage, as do 2 new lower pockets on the pants.
Velcro is also used extensively throughout the ACU to hold pockets closed instead of buttons and to provide attachment points for name tape, insignia and unit designations. Even the shirt cuffs use hook-and-loop fasteners instead of buttons.
Pouches or pockets inside the elbows and knees are provided to allow the insertion of knee and elbow pads. These are great whether you are crawling through the field or simply kneel frequently for work.
The pants also feature a draw string waist, as well as the traditional ankle draw strings.
Finally, the ACU pants are baggier and the shirts are pleated for more comfort and movement. The shirt also features a zipper instead of a button front.
Some of the best features of the BDUs -- such as the reinforced seat, knees and elbows and heavy stitching -- are retained to provide durability and longevity.

ACU Uniform in Woodland Digital Camo

These Propper Battle-Rip pants are the closest you can get to the actual issue Marine pants without enlisting. But what do you expect, they are made by Propper, the leading supplier of uniforms to the U.S. military.
These are ACU style pants, and all the pockets, pouches, Velcro patches, etc. are consistent with military specifications. The ACU pattern is considered by many to be superior to the older BDU, in part because the pockets are easier to access while wearing tactical vests or other load bearing equipment.
In our experience, the digital woodland pattern used by the U.S. Marine Corps is far superior to the Army's Universal digital camouflage pattern in woodland, forested and jungle environments.
These pants are also made from 65/35 poly/cotton rip-stop material, the fabric of choice for federal use. In fact, we sold a big order of these to a federal agency recently, and they were very pleased with the look and performance. We expect you will be as well.
Please note, these ACUs are treated with DuPont Teflon for liquid and stain resistance. Also, the USMC does not offer their uniforms on the market. These are not actual issue pants and do not have NIR technology.
