These new desert boots look great withthe ACU uniform! They combine the desert upper with a great lug sole for better traction in all kinds of terrain.
They are comfortable and appear very sturdy and durable. They have uppers made from tan suede and Cordura. They are speedlace with nylon coated brass speedhooks and eyelets for easy on and off. The multi-layer sole is thick and has a Sierra tread, which is a lug tread design that should provide better traction than a Panama sole and outlast a ripple sole. It also features a midsole heat barrier, which anyone who has walked on hot desert sand will tell you is a valuable feature.
