For years, Captain Dave has kept a four-cell Mag-Lite flashlight in his truck and a three-cell Mag-Lite by the bed. He's included them in the NBC kit, but only after our expansion in 2003 has he offered them ala carte. Now you can pick the size you want, in both D and C cells.
