On one side of the exterior, there are two long padded pockets which are suitable for storing a bipod, shooting sticks, a spotting scope or other gear. Then there's the big bottom pocket, which will hold plenty of ammo and other accessories. All together, a well made piece of gear that is much more versatile than a hard sided case.

The padded case itself safely holds just about any assault rifle and has adjustable tie downs inside so you can be sure your optics are going to get smacked about. The attention to detail and heavy thick 3/4-inch foam on all six sides is a welcome change from the standard nylon case. It even features additional padding to protect your muzzle.

Behind the pouches, there’s a second padded compartment, which you can't see in the photo, with two padded pouches. They are designed to hold a pistol (two total), but you could also use these for optics or other accessories.

The case comes with the three pouches you see here, giving you plenty of storage space for magazines, boxes of ammo, cleaning kits, your log book and all the other accessories we shooters like to tote about. All the pouches have gussets, making them hold far more than you would think. They also feature draw strings, to you can tighten them up or loosen them to fit more gear. The two outside pouches can hold five or six AR-15 magazines and the center pouch is even larger.

Available in Coyote Tan, , Black, and Olive Drab. Standard size is 40 inches and is usually in stock. Longer, 46 inch case -- for most .308 battle rifles and many shotguns -- is also available and usually in stock. Smaller 36 inch case for collapsible stock or short barrel assault rifle sand entry guns is usually a special order item. Please allow a week to ship 36-inch case.
