Sure, lots of people pick a pair of sunglasses that look good on them, but that ignores one of the most important reasons to own a pair: Protecting your baby blues. We have your classic military sunglass styles, from aviator styles to cool wrap-arounds, but we also have protective sunglasses, shooting glasses, and both tactical and ballistic goggles to help protect your eyes from foreign objects.
Dave has personally witnessed shooting glasses protect their wearer from splashback when shooting steel targets. Pieces of lead and copper jacket can bounce back at you, so wearing shooting glasses is critical. In one case, the sight rail on top of a customized pistol sheared off during recoil and slammed into the face of the shooter during a match. His shooting glasses were useless after the impact, but the shooter and his eye’s were fine.

| Please keep in mind that with sunglasses, as with many other items, you tend to get what you pay for. Do not expect a pair of glasses you buy for less than $10 to have the same quality construction and optics as a $30 or $50 pair. Name brand and Mil-Spec sunglasses are more expensive than our no-name glasses for a reason. As a result, sunglasses that sell for less than $10 are not returnable. | |||||
